TLCA Governing Documents

This section provides links to  TLCA-SD’s governing documents. These documents outline the framework and operational guidelines of our non-profit organization.

  1. Articles set out our organizations, name, location of the head office, and any special rules we may have such as the number of directors, membership classes and voting rights. Before the Ontario Not-for-Profit Corporations Act (ONCA), these rules were included in our bylaws.
  2. Bylaws detail the structure, roles, and responsibilities that guide our governance, while our policies establish the principles that inform our decision-making processes.
  3. Policies and Procedures explain how our organization handles certain operational issues such as privacy issues, conflict of interest matters, social media and membership applications.
  4. Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) Minutes provide a record of our discussions and resolutions, ensuring transparency and accountability to our members.
