- Swimming and canoe race participants - please remember to bring your own life jackets
- Members are asked to sell and return their raffle tickets as soon as possible, or bring them to the picnic.
- It is extremely important that we get all the raffle tickets returned, even if they are unsold!
PLEASE NOTE… Membership Prize Draws. You must be present to claim your prize, or have a friend or neighbour claim the prize on your behalf. The board members will no longer store your prizes and hunt you down to pick them up. Any unclaimed prizes will be added to the prize pool for the next picnic. We want to thank all of our wonderful sponsors who have donated prizes!
Handling of the three main raffle prizes has not changed. You do not need to be present in order to win one of the three raffle draw prizes. Winners who are not at the picnic, WILL be contacted by the Board to arrange pickup of their prizes.
Volunteers to run various events are urgently needed!
We are seeking the assistance of members for the following tasks:- Running the canoe races and swim races
- Running the kids' foot races
- Running the horseshoe tournament
- Purchasing prizes for the fish pond and towels for race prizes
- Approaching businesses or individuals to donate prizes for the membership draws
If you are interested in assisting with any of these things, or something else, please get in touch with anyone on the Board. We need your help to get this large event organized. Thanks very much!

Kid's games and the horseshoe tournament start at 12 noon.
Members will recieve their tickets for the Raffle shortly. Remember to sell or buy these tickets. Important! Please bring the money, plus all the SOLD and UNSOLD tickets to the Picnic. Turn them in at the Registration Tent.
